The Genesis of a Visionary Promise
In September 1998, Glory Children's Academy opened its very first classrooms in Angwa Mission, Behind TC Quarters, Off JAMB Office, Jalingo, motivated by a simple yet potent dream: to build an academic nursery and high-quality educational standard that Taraba State families could trust fully. Our founders set target priorities from the onset: GCA would never compromise on rigorous intellectual teaching, rigid moral character grooming, and technological preparedness.
Starting with a small registry of dedicated children and qualified staff, we believed that children from Jalingo deserved the exact same grade of premium academic curriculum found in major global capitals. Over the course of nearly three decades of passionate service, GCA grew to incorporate custom standard departments, modern classrooms, and high performance scientific environments.

Foundation & Jalingo Inception
Glory Children's Academy is founded in Jalingo. The school begins with a core handful of classrooms and high expectations, focusing on early primary excellence and strong moral development.
Primary Multi-Divisional Expansion
To accommodate an exploding student roster, GCA opens dedicated primary school facilities, establishing the school as a household name for superb early-childhood foundational programs in Taraba.
Launch of Science & Computer Labs
Investing heavily in practical science, GCA undergoes a massive infrastructure upgrade—building separate state-of-the-art chemical physics laboratories, and a brand-new high-performance ICT laboratory with desktop equipment.
Secondary Education Block Approval
Responding to demands from parents for continuation, the academy is officially accredited to offer highly specialized Junior under WAEC and NECO brackets, and inaugurates the secondary educational complex.
State-wide Sports & Academic Trophies
Scholars of the academy sweep elite academic awards across Taraba State, alongside winning gold in state science fairs, football tournaments, and debate contests.
28th Anniversary & Digital Era
Glory Children's Academy celebrates 28 years of success in raising leaders. We debut professional interactive teacher dashboards, digital academic report entries, and custom parent portals for transparent grading and class scheduling.
